Goddard VLBI global solution 2004f_astro
Astrometric global solution 2004f_astro used all available VLBI observations
including 15 observing sessions of the
VLBA Calibrator Survey
at 8.4GHz and 2.2 GHz from 1979.08.03 to 2004.11.23, 3892 diurnal sessions,
4,759,337 measurements of group delays.
Positions of 2658 sources were adjusted in a single least square solution.
Currenly, this is the most complete catalogue of positions of compact
radio sources. Technical description of the solution is available
here.
Results
-
2004f_astro catalogue in
HTML form (5 Mb). The catalogue contains source
positions, their uncertainties, estimates of the total VLBA flux
density, the VLBA flux density of unresolved components, naturally
weighted CLEAN images in postscript and in fits format at X and
S-band; plots of the correlated flux density as a function of the
length of the baseline projection to the source plane; fits files
with calibrated uv data. NB: so far images and fluxes are
available only for 725 sources observed in
VCS2 and
VCS3 campaigns.
-
2004f_astro catalogue in ASCII format.
The catalogue contains source positions, their uncertainties,
total VLBA flux density, the VLBA flux density of unresolved
components.
-
2004f_astro catalogue in blokq
format. The catalogue contains source positions and
their uncertainties. This catalogue can be used as a priori
file for Mark5 VLBI
analysis sofware package Calc/Solve
-
Images and uv data of 725 sources
in one tar.bz2 file (481Mb). Refer to
the readme file
for the file name convention in this archive. These images were obtained
from processing 5
VCS2 and
VCS3 observing sessions.
